The jack-up drilling rig is designed for drilling of engineering-geological boreholes and performance of geotechnical investigations in the boreholes to the depth of 100 m within the nearshore zones of the seas, bays, lakes, rivers, harbor waters, boot basins and gulfs at the water depth to 10 meters.

The unit allows performing of cone penetration testing (CPT), seismic cone penetration testing (SCPT) and standard penetration testing (SPT). Operations within the water areas can be executed using a support vessel (if a lifting device with the capacity of not less than 25 t is available on the support vessel) and directly from the shore using a hoisting crane with the required capacity.
